Golf Club Water Filtration Installations in Mexico

Equeron installed a dual 360 array in Mexican golf clubs to protect irrigation systems.

What was needed? Automatic self-cleaning screen filters for golf course and turf irrigation systems that need reliable nozzle protection and uniform coverage.

Problems with Golf & Turf Filtration

When dealing with Golf & Turf, there are many water quality issues that must be addressed through filtration. Golf and turf irrigation systems often use ponds, wells, lakes, or reclaimed water with sediment and organic matter. Debris can clog sprinkler nozzles, reduce irrigation uniformity, and increase maintenance labor. Manual filter cleaning can interrupt watering schedules and create operational headaches.

Water sources may vary, but the primary water sources for Golf & Turf filtration are: Ponds, Lakes, Wells, Reclaimed water, and Surface water. These sources, however, are filled with contaminants like Sand, Silt, Algae, Organic matter, and Turf debris which can be filtered at the 100-500 micron range.

Overview

Golf and turf irrigation systems often pull from water sources that can carry sediment, organics, and other debris into the distribution network. This installation was designed to provide automatic filtration for higher-flow irrigation demand while helping protect downstream equipment from plugging and buildup.

Results

The Equeron 360's have run without fault since installation, continuing to protect irrigation nozzles and preventing sediment buildup in pipelines.
