Rick is a mechanical engineer who has been working in the filtration industry for over 40 years. His expertise is in product design, filtration applications, system commissioning, and customer support.

Since 2003, he has been in the product development and customer support of the most recent double-helical screw (self-reversing) drive mechanism. Rick was an Engineer/Owner of VAF filtration prior to its acquisition in 2016 and is now Owner/Director of Equeron Automatic Filtration LLC in partnership with Glenn. He provides Equeron clients application, commissioning and support advice and assistance and is familiar with the strengths & weaknesses of all types of self-cleaning suction scanner products.
